After two and a half years of non-inspiration, a new tune has emerged. It may take a few listens to recognize how it coheres. I approached it in a classical way: a theme with variations. Three movements with recapitulation at the end. I change keys, time signatures, and rhythms in unpredictable ways throughout the piece. Anyway, It expresses my yearning for the liberation of our country from the robber barons! Hope you enjoy! (And forgive the unprofessional recording!)
