My sister and I started a new project called “soul collage.” The idea is to make a collage using images from photos, magazines, the internet, etc. Images are chosen intuitively, with the intention to mirror our unique perspective of the concept we are working with. The first idea we chose to explore is: “Source.” This card reflects our conception of God, spirit, all that is. The source of creation itself. I also wrote a poem to describe the card’s meaning for me:
Source The deep is murky An unknowable mystery Its unconscious rumblings Roam the black waters Until lightning strikes Creation’s spark ignites The dark womb Attracts the Light Form emerges Whole and complete Orbs spin Tides rise and fall Eternity Is our Home
